Rob Oles, Owner

Rob Oles has over 20 years of experience in the construction and remodeling supply industry. For most of his career, Rob worked in various managerial roles with Ferguson Enterprises, a leading supplier of building materials with over 200 showrooms nationally. Prior to purchasing Living Spaces, Rob was Ferguson's Regional Sales Manager for 21 showroom locations in California, Arizona, and Nevada.

In 2004, Rob returned to North Carolina. Rob decided to utilize his entreprenurial drive, education from UNC's MBA program, and showroom industry experience to pursue the american dream of owning his own business. In 2004 Rob purchased Living Spaces, formerly San Davis - a business that has been in Southern Pines for 25 years. The Sandhills area was a perfect place for Rob to pursue his dream.

Caroline Shillito, AKBD

Caroline joined Living Spaces in October 2007.   Her previous experience was with Chicago Kitchen Design Group where she worked among 6 other designers with broad experience, talents, and abilities.  She learned a great deal from them during her 4 years in Chicago.

Caroline is extremely detail oriented and organized.  She received her certification as an Associate Kitchen and Bath Designer (AKBD) with the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) in 2006.    She also has a degree in Interior Design from Appalachian State University. 

A unique knowledge base which Caroline brings to Living Spaces is in the area of Sustainable Design.   By completing a year long post graduate program called ARCHEWORKS, she became an expert in understanding unique design work which considers how resources may impact the environment in an earth-friendly way.  

Growing up in Chapel Hill, she is happy to return to N.C., and she likes the intimate atmosphere of Living Spaces and the Pinehurst area.   She says the area is very beautiful, and the community has been most accommodating to her.
